The core-four headed to Mayfel’s on a sunny October morning to celebrate Chelsea’s 25th birthday.
The Burger Bar
We decided to switch up our routine and try a new place recently. Burger Bar, the oldest of it’s kind in Asheville, was the destination. And (would you believe it?) there wasn’t a burger in sight.
High Five Coffee Bar
Our little mountain town has been in the news quite a bit lately. It’s safe to say we won’t be reviewing Waking Life Espresso on the blog anytime soon, and while we are disgusted and outraged by what has transpired, we are so proud of the swift actions of our community. The citizens of this town are unlike any other. In the interest of looking forward, we would like to shine a spotlight on another local coffee shop committed to finding a solution, rather than contributing to the problem. Thank you, High Five.
The WALK
Taco Tuesday at the West Asheville Lounge and Kitchen (WALK) might be one of the locals’ worst-kept secrets. After all, who can say no to $1.50 tacos?
YoLo
We were in need of some serious refreshment after getting lost on a hike last week. Hot, sweaty, and ever-so-slightly irritable, we were searching for something cold and delicious. YoLo was there for us.
Burial Beer Co.
Universal Joint
We were all feeling a bit worse for the wear (once again) last Sunday morning. Usually the first thing on my mind waking up after a night out is, “Where are we eating?” Just so happened that UJ, located in West Asheville, was what was decided upon.
Black Mountain Ale House
Nine Mile
There’s no better way to kick off a weekend than a girls’ lunch.
Homegrown
We were feeling a little worse for the wear on Saturday after a big night out. We woke up ravenous and aching for some good Southern food. Luckily, we know a place.
